There’s definitely a lack of the modern conveniences players expect these days and Kowloon High-School Chronicle expects you to try things on your own to proceed with almost no hints or help. Dungeons also include regular battles and larger boss encounters. The battles are turn-based with you being able to use ranged, melee, or items as you try and defeat enemies. Kowloon High-School Chronicle is not an easy game and the remaster or remake only really extends to the visuals and performance. Expect a lot of the usual older dungeon crawler difficulty.
